Week of 3/35

Hey Everyone!!

I you had a good weekend and are having a good week this far! We only have one collaborative assignment this week, which is to start working on our website. All we have to do this week is set the website up (adding all of the required items we already have completed), so we have a URL to post on elearning. One of us needs to create a team google account and use google to create the website! There are directions posted on elearning for this week. I don't have much experience in creating a website so if either of you do go ahead and create the website!!

In addition to creating our website, we have a few individual assignments:
- Reading Reflection chp 11
- Reading Reflection chp 12
- Creation of our new original resource (dropbox on elearning)
- Commenting to Tech Tools

In the comments we should have a discussion about who is going to set up the website and what each of us are going to add to the website!

Meeting Today 3/21

Hey Everyone!

Just a reminder that we are meeting today at 1pm in Sangren to work on our storyboard assignment. I reserved room 1408 (which I believe is the same room as last time). I reserved the room for an hour longer this time because I felt we could have used a little more time so we have the room from 1-4 today, I don't expect that we would be there for that long!!

See you both there!

Week of March 18

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a good weekend! This week we have two Assignments in addition to our reading reflection.

Individual Assignments:

  • We have our fourth lesson plan which like all the other ones is done individually and everyone in the group needs to do their lesson plan on something different! Remember that you should be using the Basic Lesson Plan template on Taskstream to design your lesson plan!
  • Comment on Tech Tool
  • Reading Reflection for Chapter 10

Collaborative Assignment:

  • This week's collaborative assignment is our Storyboard, which is going to help us plan out our website for our project! This assignment is due on Friday night instead of Sunday!
  • Look over the requirements for this assignment that are posted on elearning. And start brainstorming what the different parts of our website will look like!
  • I will create a google doc for the storyboard and share it with you both, so we can begin working on it!!
I think this is an assignment that we should meet in person to work on!! I am free every afternoon and can meet pretty much whenever! We could do Thursday afternoon again from like 1-3pm? That seemed to work out nice last time!! Let me know if that works for you and I can reserve a room again!!

**If we do work on this together I think that it would be extremely helpful if the storyboard is started by the time we meet, that way we can revise and continue adding to it!

Digital Story

Hello Everyone!
This week, our assignment is to create a digital story, but individually!  There are a few examples and resources on E-learning to check out.
For this assignment, we will have to download the Shadow Puppet EDU App on our phones. The digital story can be fiction or non-fiction and it can also be used as an introduction to a lesson plan for a specific concept in our Big Project. We will be using this post to talk about who will be doing what lesson.

Here are the requirements:
  1. A title slide
  2. At least 1 minute with 6 sub units (different slides/images) of information on your topic
  3. Images and/or graphics for each of the 6sub units
  4. At least 1 image must be found on the web
  5. At least 1 image must be taken by you
  6. Recorded script that you will need to record in Shadow Puppet EDU app
  7. Background Music
Once finished, click DONE in the app. Next, share and save it to something easily accessible (Ex. Google Drive) to upload it to YouTube. Then, upload it to YouTube and publish it on the public setting. Post the URL of the video (from YouTube) under Module #8.
